Mini story of the life of Simon Kenton, who is a US frontiersman in West Virginia, and Kentucky. He was born in 1755, in Fauquier County, Virginia. His parents were immigrants from Ireland and Scots-Wales. When he was young, he couldn’t go to school so he was illiterate, so he only learned letters to sign his own name. In addition, he also learned to adapt in the wilderness. Kenton settled near Maysville and married Martha Dowden and bought some large land, after which they had four children.
