Mini story of the life of Charles E. Boles "Black Bart", who is an outlaw noted for the poetic. He was born in Norfolk, England in 1829, and his family later immigrated to Jefferson County, New York. As a young man he set out for the gold mines of California in 1849. After much hard work, he returned home in 1852. He also served in the Confederate Army and became a Sergeant.
